A record 84,000 people registered with GAMSTOP in 2022, the highest annual figure since GAMSTOP launched in April 2018. In total, 341,365 people have chosen to self-exclude from online gambling sites since our launch, with an increase of 7% in new registrations over the year, compared to 2021.

The continuing growth in our registration volumes indicates that self-exclusion is an increasingly important tool for people experiencing issues with their gambling. It lets them take a break and seek further support.
